Fare Logistics is proud to offer the Voyager Electronic Fare Collection System, designed to suit your transit agency's specific requirements. The Voyager System is comprised of the following components:

Today's transit agencies' requirements are as individual as the communities they serve. To that end, Fare Logistics has developed the Voyager Fare Collection System comprised of rich and full functionality that is flexible enough to be a completely stand-alone system or can easily integrate with your transit agencies applications such as passenger counters, CAD/AVL systems, bus diagnostic systems and so much more. The Voyager Farebox meets these integration requirements by using an open-system architecture to enable easy communication using protocols such as those associated with J1708.

Fare Logistics' integration doesn't stop on the bus, we have also implemented an open-system architecture model with our data storage and retrieval software in the back-end. The Fare Logistics database and public application interface (API) allows for communication between the Fare Logistics back-end data and other back-end systems such as financial systems and clearing house systems.

In addition to open architecture software, the Fare Logistics Voyager Farebox also implements 3rd party, off- the-shelf hardware. This means a more robust and flexible Farebox which uses proven technology from industry specialists.

Along with a strong, flexible and robust Farebox, the back-end software allows for maximum customization with minimum effort. Transit agencies can customize their fully graphical, touch-screen driver displays however best suits their organization using a simple Windows-based application. Pre-defined system reports as well as the ability to either define custom reports via the Fare Logistics reporting interface or the full capability to export and design custom reports using the OLAP Cube interface provide full flexibility to all transit agencies.
